Cecropia

Directors

Omar Khudari, Cecropia’s Director, has been involved with video games of one sort or another since graduating from Harvard in the early eighties. In 1987, after five years with educational software developer Tom Snyder Productions, Omar and fellow programmer David Kaemmer founded Papyrus, an entertainment software developer that would become the leading creator of auto racing simulations for the PC. As CEO, Omar grew Papyrus into a leading entertainment property with annual revenue of $15 million. In 1995, Sierra On-line, a division of Vivendi Universal, acquired Papyrus.

Broose Johnson, Cecropia’s Animation Director, was an animator for over 15 years at Walt Disney Feature Animation. Broose has animated some of the greatest characters in the history of animation, such as Sebastian from The Little Mermaid, The Beast from Beauty and the Beast, The Genie from Aladdin, Young Simba from The Lion King, Ling and Chien-Po from Mulan, and Tuke from Brother Bear.

Artists and Programmers

The creation of each Flash Comedy Skit requires a combination of both creative and technical skills – skills that may lie in one person or in a team of people. Improv acting skills quickly turn an idea into action. Artistic skills turn this action into animation. Writing skills assure that the game will tell a meaningful ‘story’ to the player. And technical skills take the artwork and create a Flash Comedy Skit.

If you’re one of the rare people who is blessed with both the creative and technical skills, we’d love to hear from you!

Advisory Board

Cecropia’s Board consists of David Kaemmer, Richard Hilleman, and Desmond Pieri, individuals with extensive experience in both the video game industry and / or with growing companies.
